College is supposed to be the best years.
It's also the hardest.

Academic pressure, identity formation, first relationships, distance from home, and the weight of figuring out who you are, all at once. GN Counseling and Wellness offers practical, flexible therapy for college students and recent graduates.

You're figuring out who you are
while the world is watching.

College is one of the most identity-intensive periods of life. You're making decisions about who you are, who you want to be, what you believe, often without the support structures you grew up with. That's a lot to carry.

At GN Counseling and Wellness, we meet college students where they are, with practical tools for managing academic and social anxiety, psychodynamic space to explore who they're becoming, and a flexible structure that works around the realities of student life.

Anxiety and academic pressure
We work on the performance anxiety, perfectionism, and procrastination that often underlie academic struggle, not just study tips.
Identity and belonging
Who am I outside of my family? Where do I fit in? These questions are developmentally appropriate, and genuinely hard. We make space for them.
Practical skills for a complicated life
DBT-based skills for emotional regulation and distress tolerance are especially useful during the intensity of college life.

Campus counseling centers are often limited in sessions, have long wait lists, and aren't able to see you over breaks. GN Counseling and Wellness offers continuity of care, more flexibility, and therapists with more specialized training.
What you share in therapy is confidential unless you choose to involve your family. Some young adults find family sessions useful, we can discuss what feels right.
